Elsa has been the Executive Assistant for the Greater Brownsville Incentives Corporation since December 2019.  She is an Alumni of The University of Phoenix where she majored in a Bachelor of Science degree with Concentration in HealthCare Administration and her Certificate of Medical Records/Billing and Coding. She became a permanent resident to Brownsville in 2015. She loves living and working in the Rio Grande Valley and enjoys the scenic views South Padre Island.

Prior to her position in economic development she had supportive roles in the healthcare field where she gained her experience in office operations and office management. While in her medical and dental field roles she has valued the healthcare necessity that the RGV has to provide to our communities.

Also, Elsa has Marketing experience by taking on the role of Brand Ambassador for the past 8 years providing consumers information about various products. She has previously partnered in working with HEB, Walmart, T-Mobile, and other big box markets to showcase products to consumers.

Since her new role in economic development she is enthusiastic in learning this field and how she can contribution her knowledge to the community and the organization.

Currently, she is enrolled in the Master’s Degree in Business Administration program with The University of Phoenix.
