AYPA Power, a Blackstone portfolio company, developer, owner, and operator of energy storage, renewables, and micro grids in North America has signed an option to lease with the City of Brownsville. Their focus is to construct and install battery energy storage facilities and other solar photovoltaic electric generation facilities in connection with the generation, storage, conversion and or distribution of electric energy on three(3) acres of land at the Brownsville’s Air + Space Campus.
